In
march 2009 , Philippa set up the " Art En Residence Association
" to offer an exchange opportunity between the International
artists she works with at the Museum van Loon in Amsterdam and the
many different cultural, historical and educational activities that
take place in Arles and it's surroundings
Philippa
Colomb de Daunant- van Loon was born in the United States, of Franco-Dutch
parents, having lived in Amsterdam, London and Paris, her international
background is an enriching experience she wants to share.
Having
done a B.A. Hon's in Sculpture at Chelsea College of Art and Design
in London, she exhibited her work as an artist in London and Paris.
She still continues to work as an artist today.
Philippa
is also chairman of the Van Loon Foundation in Amsterdam where she
regularly organises exhibitions in the historical setting with contemporary
Dutch and International artists.
